Infracare Gel Toe-Tubing
Infracare Gel Toe-Tubing are ribbed with cotton outer layer. Designed to reduce pressure and friction by creating a soft barrier around the toe. The medical‑grade gel lining cushions the toe and absorbs shear forces. The fabric exterior prevents the gel from sticking to hosiery or shoes and reduces rubbing. They provide cushioning, friction reduction, pressure redistribution, and moisturizing support. These combined effects make it useful across multiple toe‑related conditions:
Corns:
Cushions prominent areas to reduce shoe pressure.
Minimizes friction that causes hard or soft corns.
Helps prevent recurrence by reducing mechanical irritation
Calluses:
Offloads pressure that drives skin thickening
Absorbs shear forces to slow callus buildup
Softens skin with mineral‑oil gel for easier debridement.
Blisters:
Stops the friction that creates “hot spots” and blisters
Protects existing blisters from tearing or snagging
Maintains a calm, cushioned environment for healing
Ingrown or Missing Toenails:
Reduces lateral pressure on the nail fold
Prevents rubbing against inflamed skin
Shields exposed nail beds or missing nails from impact
Hammer Toes and Bunions:
Cushions prominent joints and toe tips
Reduces toe‑to‑toe rubbing from deformity‑related crowding
Protects the second toe from bunion pressure
Diabetic Toe Sensitivity:
Provides gentle, uniform protection for neuropathic skin
Reduces risk of friction‑related breakdown
Creates a soft barrier against shoe pressure
Infracare Gel Toe-Tubing : Open Toe Design
Easier to Put on and Take Off : The open toe design allows the tube to slide on smoothly without forcing the gel over a sensitive nail or tender tip. Benefit :Ideal for patients with pain at the distal tip, thick nails, or limited hand strength.
Better Ventilation and Breathability: Leaving the tip open improves airflow around the toe. Benefit: Reduces moisture buildup, keeps the skin cooler, and helps prevent maceration, especially important for diabetics or patients prone to fungal issues.
Allows visibility of the Nail area: Clinicians and patients can see the nail edge, blister, or callus without removing the tube. Benefit: Useful for monitoring ingrown nails, healing blisters, or diabetic skin integrity.
Reduces Pressure on the Toe Tip: Closed tubes can sometimes press on the distal end of the toe. Open toe tubing removes that pressure entirely. Benefit: Perfect for hammer toes, claw toes, or patients with painful tip calluses.
Accommodates Longer or Irregular Nails: Open toe designs don’t force the nail to bend or press against the gel. Benefit: More comfortable for thick, curved, or partially missing toenails.
