Shoe Attachment Kit for Pero Drop foot Brace – Infracare
Shoe Attachment Kit is the essential accessory for users of the BOA Foot Drop Brace who want seamless versatility between different pairs of footwear. Instead of unmounting and reinstalling your hardware every time you change shoes, this kit allows you to “ready” multiple pairs of shoes for immediate use with your existing brace.
Key Features
-
Multi-Shoe Compatibility: Specifically designed to allow the Infracare BOA Foot Drop Brace to be used across multiple pairs of shoes without removing the original hardware.
-
Complete 6-Piece Set: Includes everything needed for a full installation on one additional pair of shoes:
-
2x Screws (A): For secure anchoring.
-
2x Closures (B): To manage the BOA cable interface.
-
2x Hooks (C): For consistent tension and lift.
-
-
Universal Design: Works with most lace-up or eyelet-based footwear, maintaining the brace’s “on-shoe” external profile.
-
Durable Hardware: Built with high-quality materials to withstand the tension of the BOA Fit System and the rigors of daily walking.

Benefits
-
Ultimate Convenience: Swap your brace from your sneakers to your work shoes in seconds. No tools or tedious re-installation required once the kit is in place.
-
Cost-Effective Versatility: Enjoy the support of your premium BOA brace on any shoe in your closet for a fraction of the cost of buying a second brace.
-
Maintains “Invisible” Support: Like the brace itself, the fixing kit components are low-profile, ensuring your foot drop support remains discreet under clothing.
-
Consistent Gait Correction: By having a dedicated kit on each shoe, you ensure the lifting mechanics are always perfectly aligned for a safer, more natural walking pattern, regardless of which shoes you wear.
-
No Shoe Interference: Since the kit attaches to the exterior of the shoe, it won’t take up room inside your footwear or interfere with your existing orthotics or insoles.
Note: This is a hardware fixing kit only. The Infracare BOA Foot Drop Brace is sold separately.
Installation Guide: Infracare Fixing Kit
Setting up your additional footwear for the BOA Foot Drop Brace is a quick, one-time process. Follow these steps to ensure a secure fit and optimal lift.
Items in Your Kit
-
2x Screws (A)
-
2x Closures (B)
-
2x Hooks (C)
Step-by-Step Instructions

-
Select Your Anchor Point
Identify the optimal eyelets on your shoe for the Hooks (C). Typically, these are the mid-to-lower eyelets. Ensure the hooks are placed symmetrically on the left and right sides of the shoe.
-
Attach the Hooks (C)
Thread the base of the hook through the selected eyelet from the outside in. The hook should face upward/outward to catch the BOA cable easily.
-
Position the Closures (B)
Place the Closures (B) at the highest point of the eyelet row (closest to the ankle). These act as the guide for the tension system.
-
Secure with Screws (A)
Insert the Screws (A) through the Closures and into the shoe eyelets. Tighten them firmly to ensure there is no movement when tension is applied by the BOA dial.
-
Test the Connection
Transfer your BOA brace to the new shoe. Loop the cable through the Closures (B) and down into the Hooks (C). Turn the BOA dial to verify that the tension provides a consistent lift to the toe.
Installation Tips
-
Double-Knot Laces: If you are installing the kit on lace-up shoes, ensure your laces are tied securely before attaching the BOA cable, as the brace relies on the shoe being snug to your foot.
-
Check Alignment: If the toe feels like it’s pulling to one side, adjust the height of the hooks slightly to re-center the lift.
